Hi. Nothing is living or lives anywhere for 1000 miles south of the north pole and then the greatest amount of evergreen trees in any one area on planet earth begin to exist.. There are so many trees all together beginning in this one area [approx. 1000 miles south of the north pole] that they provide enough oxygen to help supply the entire planet on a large scale.. Thus within the trees one begins to see small animals like the Linx or snow rabbit, etc.. I'd guess if you had some reason to move right to the very top of the north pole and sustain yourself you'd be eating a lot of frozen food from storage in your travels! *LAUGHZ!* Yes is very dry joke that needs to thaw out a bit from the cold..
