The sky is the limit when the question is what kind of finger foods are fit for a graduation party. If you are in charge of the food, it would probably benefit you to get a list of people attending and make sure you do not serve any food that will affect the allergies of your guests. After that is settled, use your imagination and try and please everyone who will be at the party with a wide range of scrumptious finger foods.

Any kind of chips with a hot salsa dip is going to be a hit at a graduation party, and they also go along perfectly with a number of other finger dishes. Cheese is another dish that goes well with just about anything, and a mix of different cheeses stacked on a toothpick is a favorite with just about everyone.

If you want to get a little more exotic and please the healthy eaters at the party, try serving a fruit dish with ranch dressing or a tray of little smokies with Italian dressing for a more filling dish. Chicken strips with gravy or ranch dressing is also a great choice for people of all ages that also goes great with any number of other finger food combinations.

When planning a graduation party it is best to serve as wide a variety of finger foods as possible to please a wide range of people. Go with time proven favorites and there is no way you can go wrong especially with a younger crowd looking to have a good time and enjoy some food. A combination of cheeses, dips, and chicken, fresh fruit, or sausage staples will have your guests raving over the food as long you take the time to prepare it properly and serve it while still fresh and hot.

In the UK we used to always put a piece of small sausage (hot dog, smokies etc.) a piece of sharp cheddar (cube) and then a pineapple cube onto a fancy toothpick.. A mixture of sweet, savoury and sharpness from the cheese was wonderful.

Little smokies (min. Weiners); chips; dip; sandwiches; fruit tray w/ fruit dip; veggie tray w/ dip.  Use sour cream ranch dip- can double for chip dip and veggie tray dip.  Fruit dip (1 sm cool whip, 1 8 oz. Cream cheese, 1 jar marshmallow cream) can go with fruit & vanilla wafers.
