It's Guaraná. I participated in its flavoring. Figured I'd put all of the questions to rest. Guaraná, Paullinia cupana (syn. P. Crysan, P. Sorbilis) is a climbing plant in the maple family, Sapindaceae, native to the Amazon basin and especially common in Brazil. Guarana features large leaves and clusters of flowers, and is best known for its fruit, which is about the size of a coffee bean. Flavor is also mixed with the flavoring from the fruit Theobroma Cacao. This fruit is where the world gets its chocolate from. The fruit contains a large quantity of seeds the size of quarters. Each seed is coated with a white slimy membrane. This membrane is the part of the fruit that can be eaten immediately once the outer shell of the fruit is opened. It's freaking delicious, unfortunately there isn't much available. So, underneath this membrane is the Cacao seed. During the cocoa powder process. This cacao seed or more widely known as cocoa, is crushed into a fine powder. The raw powder is then taken and mixed with a myriad of different flavors and additives to make the chocolate we buy and eat and love. But so anyway, yea the flavor in this Mystery gum is taken from the combination of flavors from both of those incredible fruits.
Well many ppl hav been sayin it taste like that zebra gum and they say it is all flavors and well I think both choices are reasonable but I hav tasted that zebra gum and it does taste just like stride mega mystery gum and mixing all flavors of stride that would taste weird and it wouldn't taste like stride mega mystery gum so I choose zebra gum. P.S.zebra gum and stride mega mystery gum smell alike. Well this my choice you can think it tastes like well wateva you think everybodys taste buds don't taste the same way so you may think it taste different then what I think.
I just got it today and its really good! I would guess that its some kind of lemon lime melon type flavor. But at the same time it feels like the flavor keeps changing inside of your mouth.....p.s I'm chewing it now
I think it is a mix of orange and watermelon but since I'm Turkish in our culture we use roses a.lot and I'm pretty sure I tasted some rose in their. It has the refreshing sweet rose taste.

Listen, people. The flavor is Mango. No mixes, just mango, I went through exactly 36 tests with the gum, to only figure out it was Mango. There is no blend of fruits, just Mango. I had some Orbit pina colada gum one time and it tastes a lot like Mega Mystery. Here are some other ideas: The leftover gum Stride Shift with all flavors All flavors mixed together (Doubtful) Random flavor in each pack, i.e. One pack is orange, a different pack is berry, ect. Whatever it is, it sure is good!
While reading this and chewing the gum I believe the closet guesses are gummy bears and then zebra gum cut with strawberry and apple with a faint hint of lemon citrus and gobstopper with an old school strawberry gum cut, but because the flavor fades away soo fast I'm guessing zebra gum because that flavor also fades super fast, truely delicious though
Its a new made up flavor, I'm sure they took a bunch of chemicals and artificial flavors and dumped them together to make it taste like it does, but yeah I'm getting passionfruit, pineapple, strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, citrus, a lil mint and the occasional taste of grossness. I bought 6 packs of this new Mystery flavor and tried different pieces from different packs. They are not all the same. The flavors in the packs vary. Some taste like the zebra gum some taste like a mango and watermellon. Thats my .02$ on the subject. Test this out then ssee what you think. I think that I have to agree with the mystery stride tasting like raspberry ginger-ale...it really does!..It"s also a lot like the zebra gum...Does it really matter though...? All I know for sure is that this gum is AMAZING!
I believe it is pomegranate lemonade. The lemonade is really apparent with the first taste and the pomegranate comes out later. Pomegranate is getting really popular now a days and I don't believe that they have a pomegranate gum yet.

It pretty much tastes like a waste of money because it only lasts for about 15 maybe 20 minutes. But yes it tastes exactly like the old fruit stripe gum and lasts about as long too
I'm not a chewer of fruity gum, so I'm not too familiar with fruit flavors. I do however love Icebreakers Iced-Tea Mints, and I'm definitely tasting Lemon Iced-Tea. Taste came to me instantly, try it yourself. (Even if I'm wrong about flavor for Mystery Gum the mints are amazing).

I'm pretty sure it's lemon-lime, which seems incredibly regular but when you think about it there's no lemon-lime flavored gum, citrus gum in general is few and far between. It's something so obvious it's difficult.

I think it tastes like exotic fruit :) I orginally thought it was all of the flavors together but its not I tasted lemon watermelon and more I can't wait till they tell us
I honestly say it is pineapple with a tiny hint of mint or maybe strawberry because it tastes just like a pineapple strawberry smoothie (which we serve at my cafè)

Everyone is blind and retarded. You need to go to an asian store because this gum is the flavor of an asian candy that comes in a misshapen tube. It is a hard and round candy and I've only seen two different kinds. The ball has a diameter smaller than a dime and there are three different flavors in each tube. Normally they're purple, green and blue.
I knew right away that it tastes just like Fruit Stripes Gum. Except instead of the flavor disappearing after about 2 minutes and crumbling in my mouth, like the original fruit stripes, it actually lasts like a regular piece of gum! And it doesn't have some weird "temporary tattoo" used as it's wrapper. (well, I guess I haven't tried Stride's out to see if it's a tattoo yet. Haha)But it's like a dream come true! One pack of fruit stripes would generally last me about 1 hour, and now I can thoroughly enjoy it! Haha It's like a time warp in my mouth.

I don't really think that a company would make a whole buch of different flavored packs. I'm not going to guess what flavor gum it is. But all I know is that they can't keep switching out all the flavors for each pack. It's common sense. I ran some test on the gum to see what flavor is but my computer came back positive. I think it is the same recipe as the zebra stripe gum , lets see the cadbury company makes stride, which just got bought out by the Hershey company who acquired zebra stripe gum in 2003. So hmm little interesting isn't it. Why else would it be a mystery. Plus the ingredients are supper close.

You are all decieved. It is a ruby red grapefruit zebra strips gum. The little balls in the gum are all different flavors in which keep you guessing. The easiest way to find discover this is to pick out the balls and suck on the gum with your nose plugged to taste the ruby red grapefruit. To discover the ball favors individually nibble them.
Actually what I have learned on a cooking show is that when most companys make their mystery flavor it a special mix that is combined with whatever flavor gum is being created that day. For example: Say they are making strawberry, so they will take the mystery gum mix and add it to whatever batch is being made. Therfore no one will ever guess that mystery flavor because it will keep changing.
ITS CALLED FRUIT STRIPE...the gum from when we were all little and it had the picture of the little zebra, and if you licked the wrapper and stuck it on your arm it would leave a tattoo...COMMON, how can you forget the name!!! THE ANSWER IS NO SPECIFIC FLAVOR its an assortment if you try one piece then try another one from a different pack its an assortment from all the packs uncolored ppl get different tastes but its all the same they throw them all together without a color so you have to gues easy and lazy way to make money kinda smart though
