You know the 1900s only ended 10 years ago, and at that time a gallon was probably $6, but there were 99 years before that encompassing the 1900s, so I imagine in 1920 a gallon of milk cost considerably less, and then a little more in 1940 ... .see the problem? You need to be more specific.
