Most likely not, but you could carry manufactured sealed bags. If you plan on checking a bag, put your coffee in that bag.

If the jar is sealed and doesn't contain liquids I don't see why they wouldn't let you have it in a carry-on bag. However, airport security seems to vary from airport to airport. I've had the 2-inch file taken off my fingernail clippers at one airport and been allowed to carry-on an umbrella at other airports. If you're checking a bag anyway I would suggest you pack it well and check it.
