In our grocer's deli Dept. They sell mustard or Mayo potato salad. I'm not a big fan of mustard so I go for the Mayo :)

I'll have to look for that Skip and try it. I always make my own potato salad, my mothers old recipe.

I use the yolks smashed up in the mayonnaise, but other than that...nope not if I'm making it for myself, if I'm making for someone who likes hard boiled eggs, I'll chop up the whites and put them in....yuck!

I despise eggs! Especially hard boiled ones! and Hippy, that's so true! If I eat potato salad that has eggs in it, it takes me forever to eat and there's always a pile of egg whites left over!

Absolutely! I also add bacon. Then, I remove the potato salad, leaving only bacon. Actually, come to think of it, most anything I make with the word salad in it ends up the same way.

Yes I do put hard boiled egg in my POTATO (no e on the end) salad. There is no e on the end of potato or tomato, unless they are plural as in Potatoes and Tomatoes. Sorry a pet peeve of mine.

Remember Dan Quayle, a.k.a. Mr. Potatoe Head?
He follows the Mark Twain quote:
"Never trust a man who has only one way to spell a word."

LOL, it's true, but is the reason I said it is a pet peeve. It really drives me nuts when I go to a restaurant and I see Potato"e", it a personal "crazy" thing for me LMAO.

Maybe he pronounces the word with the long o vowel sound and he just wants to emphasize that. (lol)
