A little Italian restaurant called Angelos. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the river. Eating veal parmesan and spaghetti, and drinking a beer.

One that is on a waterfront that serves seafood and chicken wings. (And beer.) My three favorites are The Swamp House River Front Grill and the Happy Snapper Tiki Bar, Down the Hatch, and Racings North Turn. The last one got its name because it is located where the north turm was back when the races in Daytona were held on the beach.

Thomas, Are those the ones where they walk around with those big things of meat, and you have some way of Signaling them when you want more?
A friend of mine told about that if it is what you're talking about.

I don't really have a favourite restaurant I just like going out for meals and indulge in that with friends a few times a week. Only stipulation is they MUST MUST MUST have a liquor licence...last time I caught a flight out of Syracuse,  New York the only restaurant near the airport was a place called crackle barrel or something like that.... Anyway , I tried to order a glass of wine with dinner and the waitress looked at me and said "we don't serve alcohol here " I was not impressed" :/  at all ... I don't think Canada has any places that don't serve alcohol sooooo that was weird...  But!!! I had an awesome working lunch today at a pub with my boss .. And that place served cos Canada  :) so I got to come home early then :) cos my boss IS AWESOME !!!! I'm slightly drunkish ... And it's only 3pm .. That's fine ... Cos I said so. I should probably go for a walk or something though ...or I'm gonna lose Friday night :/ that's not fine .. Cos I said so.

Cracker Barrel restaurants target customer is travelers. They are almost always just off an interstate. That is probably why they don't sell alcohol. But they do have a good selection of audio books. You buy them at full price and then return them minus $3.95 per week kept. Essentially you are renting the, but they are protecting themselves from the cost of someone not returing them. I used to drive from Kansas City to Daytona Beach. It is the best way to help pass the time on those long 22 hour drives.

I am a devout Pastafarian. I dine ONLY at Italian restaurants.

R'amen.

(Of course, that's the official line, but there are a few nice non-Italian eateries in my area that I enjoy. I mostly eat at Chez Didge.)
