That would be bacon and eggs with a couple of slices of toast. And if you don't mind, a couple of nice beef sausages on the side would be appreciated. Hmm, better add another egg.

Of course, that's just a dream breakfast. Normally I just have a couple of slices of toast with ginger marmalade.

You should try it sometime, if it's available where you live. Not all restaurants and diners in my area have it. It's delicious.

TJ, good for you, good pick-up...I just assumed the FARL was a typo; not so!

"The word farl originates from the Gaelic word fardel meaning four parts. These potato griddle breads can be made with leftover mashed potatoes too. Serve hot with a little butter and salt, or fry them alongside soda bread as part of an Ulster Fry-up."

Omega, you must be in the British Isles.

It is usually the "Farmer's Breakfast" and consist of far more food then one can actually eat without getting sick.

Usually it is 2 Eggs (I Like over easy), two pieces of toast (I like home made Wheat), 2 sausage links, two bacon, Ham steak, Home fries (Cooked crisp outside soft inside with onions), Baked Beans and Two pancakes OR French toast.

Other times I like a decent large Belgian Waffles topped with home made whipped cream and Strawberries/Bananas, real maple syrup and a large side of bacon.

Give me that with a bottomless cup of coffee, and Orange Juice (preferred with pulp) or Cranberry juice and a glass of water.
