We are finally getting a new oven next week. (Dun dun duuuuun) What oven meal do you recommend to test this baby out to see how durable she is to stand up to Yin's famous cooking?

A scratch made pizza with all the meats! I know a few of our people would enjoy that. ;)

That actually has been put on the request menu! Thank you my friend. My daughter bought the pizza pans a day or two before the oven stopped working! LOL!

Pizza, cookies and a cherry pie should be a good start.

If I ever strike it rich we are doing a "blurtit" pot luck and everyone is getting together! I will rent out a hotel and fly everyone out to the hotel! I will bring my dads turkey!

Sounds like it really would be fun. We would have to figure out what state most blurters live in and find the hotel there.

My mac and cheese was marinating in the tea! How? I do not know. It was just me and my young daughter who definitely could not press the button on the spout! I kind of screamed to myself, said “demon mac and cheese!” and quickly threw it down the garbage disposal! I did not speak of this crazy moment again. I could not phantom how the tea got out of the very hard to push button tea jar into a closed container of mac and cheese! 16 years have passed and I could never figure out the answer till one day recently….. Yin had been telling stories of her “wonderful” cooking and asking questions about recipes so she could hopefully improve her skills. Then the opportunity came along to tell of a ghost story and for some reason I decided to let this ghostly tale out of the bag. A friend of mine (Dragonfly) began laughing and said “Yin! You told me your cooking was bad, but your macaroni and cheese is trying to drown itself in your ice tea? You know it’s bad if your own food is jumping ship!” There we go….. I finally had my answer to my question after all this time….. Yin’s cooking is so bad even her mac and cheese attempts suicide to get away from her!!!! LOL!

Wonderful! I'm so glad you learned. But, ah, if I'm ever in your neighbourhood and you invite me for dinner, do you mind if we eat out?

You know Yang swears he puts love into his cooking and that is why he is a good cook. That is no secret in our household. I know his food always tastes better. I tested it out..... got the same exact ingredients, same everything, even had him hover over my shoulder..... his TASTED better STILL! I will try sweet talking it. I could probably nag the mac and cheese off of the ledge! LOL!
