Noodles and pastas have been around for thousands of years - first made in China, Italy, Greece, etc. The first noodles were made from ground grains (flour type) and water. Today noodles are made from flour and or semolina, eggs, salt, oil and water (depending on where there are made one or more of those ingredients may not be used).
