Yes as long as its the highest grade available so you know its safe. Pitbulls are better off eating meat rather than dog food. You can also look up recipes online that say what you can mix in with the meat to ensure they get all the nutrients they need. I feed my 9 month old pit a meat diet and his coat is very shiny and he looks healthier than he did before. He's also much more eager to eat his meat rather than dog food.
