If you water a plant with milk it will start to die and it will start to mold.
Yes, they can. Decaffeinated soda works really well if you don't have any water. But milk and orange juice just make plants moldy.
Hi, there!
That is extremely interesting. My guess is it would harm the plant, from the types of chemicals we drink, though it would have to depend on how sturdy the plant is, if you are talking about a bush, it can withstand a lot of wear and tear, and may survive that, on the other and if you are talking about a tiny weak flower, it may not do too well if you pour milk, orange juice, water, and vinegar on it. If I were you I would not try that. :) Hope this helps!

I tried this for my science fair and the calculations are that a plant survives longer in milk longer than any other liquid besides water!
I did a science project but I used, grape juice, coke, orange juice, sugar water, water, and ice tea with ginger ale. The ice tea grew the best!!
The plant gets small amounts of mold later bugs get on the mold and it dies
Milk contains fructose, lactose and other ingredients that can invite metabolism changes, This is not good for plants .
The milk will be good for the soil but the seed probably will not grow. Also, mold will develope on the surface and smell terrible.
I saw that the plant Will die eventually and it does not mold it does smell bad though and like joii1 said it does get jell-ish
Just wondering, why would you water a plant with milk>?
I'm doing a science fair project like that I wonder too.
I have conducted that experiment it molds and smells horrible the milk becomes like a jell-ish and orangish yellow ---gross really . Plant does die
I have to do a science fair on this too, help, what happens?, which grows faster?, why?
Can plants live with soil and water and other liquids its for my SCIENCE PROJECT
I am doing this for a science project and I would like to know
what is it in the milk that makes it this way?
what is it in the milk that makes it this way?
