I love hummus with red peppers roasted with it. A good crab dip is great too with a spinach dip also. But, I love that hummus !
Looking for some really good dips to try, any suggestions?
I'm also a fan of hummus. As Rooster suggested, the roasted red pepper variety is tasty.
I also like hummus with caramelized onions
Here are some other dips to try out:
- Tzatziki - A Greek dip with cool yoghurt and cucumbers. Great with meat like kebab skewers, lamb or pork.. As well as simply served with flatbread.
- Guacamole - Delicious, creamy avocado-based dip which has its roots in Aztec Mexico.
- Sweet chilli mayonnaise - simple to make, and delicious with things like tempura prawns.
Bonus point: I used to work in a Japanese restaurant where we served little dumplings called "gyoza". They were served with a dipping sauce that consists of soy sauce, chilli oil and rice vinegar.
It's not quite a "dip", but it can certainly add a kick to your meal!
