In my area, southeast Pennsylvania, we have scrapple, Philly cheesesteaks and funnel cake. Scrapple is an acquired taste and pretty disgusting to most people. I LOVE it.
I am in FL so we have citrus and seafood. And sometimes they are in the same dish.
I guess a nice Filet Mignon and Lobster seem to be the most popular here in No. Cal.
Chicago pizza, hot dogs and Italian beef. Now I'm hungry.
Canada-- hmmm. Ketchup chips, all dressed chips, and nanaimo bars are popular up here. and I can't forget about the poutine lol.
NC: BBQ, Burgers, Fried Chicken, BISCUITS AND GRAVY
My state is split between Mexican food or good ol' American fried food. I live in Oklahoma so the food is really unhealthy but tasty. We are good at making fried chicken or chicken fried steak. Our alcohol isn't that great but the food is good.
In Brazil, it's BBQ, rice, and beans, typically with salad and chicken on the side. Any Brazilian restaurant will have rice and beans! I'm not from Brazil, but I've lived here long enough to know that (:
WV... Beans and cornbread! Oh and ramps!
In my state we have almost every kind of food, but some of the typical ones are
Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Steakhouse food, Seafood. Almost everything in New York. But I'd say we're known for the quality of our Pizza, Bagels, Chinese food, and probably some other things I'm leaving out.
