I've never had it but would like to try it. Rooster, you cook it, I'll eat it.

I'd love to try it, just once, to satisfy my curiosity.

As long as it is cooked properly, it is not at all greasy. And you can taste the individual flavors in each bite. Try it!!

To hear it pronounced it sounds like it might be ok to put in your mouth.

To look at the way it is spelled screams ...NO... UCK!!!

I've never tried it.

Reminds me of a restaurant here I have never gone into.... Yackatori.

Every time I drive by it I laugh because the parking lot is all ways full. My grandkids think it is funny when I ask them if they want to try it while I'm making gagging sounds.

I had it once. It was OK but I prefer the component parts separately.

Yes, I have. I've had it homemade and in a restaurant. It's very good. I found it to be a very special occasion dish. Not something one would have often. I do know that there are places who will make one for you. Whether it's a place that puts it together for you or puts it together and smokes it for you.

One thing I found interesting is that it really is a great way to have these particular meats. It was not only found to be great because of the way they would fit together but the fattest meat is on the middle with the drier meat being the chicken which is in the inside.  When roasting or smoking the fattest meat duck renders into the turkey and the chicken. So, other than seasoning the layers and lightly oiling the outside to prevent scorching you don't need fat to moisten the meat. It's there by nature. Which makes all of the meats succulent and melt in your mouth. The duck is not oily in the least, it works out perfectly if done right. I'm not a pro chef so my info could be way off but that is what I understood. If Kay is here maybe she could explain this better or correct me.

Anyway do try some if you ever get the chance. It's worth trying at least once.

I will give it a try the first chance I get. There are only 3 of us in our house so it will have to wait till we get an invite to a big dinner that is serving it.

I like turkey, I like duck, I like chicken, but the 3 in 1, I dunno sounds a bit strange. I suppose if someone made it I'd eat it, but I would not go out of my way to find some.

I bought one a couple years ago for thanksgiving.  It was expensive. I followed the directions exactly and if turned out AMAZING!!!  It had Cajun style dressing.  Yes, it looks strange, but you should try it.

I love meat, so I'd give it a try, but it just reminds me of that phrase "too much of a good thing" if you ask me...

Apparently there's a UK spin-off called Gooducken, which replaces the turkey for goose too!

I guess there are restaurants that serve duck. Just not in my area.

I'd be more likely to get it from a friend that went duck hunting, though. lol
