Hey it's national chili day. How do u like your chili, beans or no beans? Hot or mild?
I like some beans, just not a lot. And it needs to be spicy. I like food that bites back. I also make mine with ground turkey as I don't eat beef.

Not too spicy that your taste buds only get pain . . . Chase it down with Corn bread and Ice Cold beer, and I am a happy man.
I have to have the beans, and I also like it so hot it'll peel the paint off your car. A good cheddar cheese is nice on top as well.
Hey ! We're talking one of my favorites here ! Meat or no meat is fine either way just as long as it's kind of Southwestern spicy ! Yum ! It's better with beans !
I like my chili with some beans but not a lot. I make mine with corn and green beans in it and mild. I don't do spicy at all.
Anything on the spice side of mild is quite acceptable to me.
Beans vs no beans is not a major consideration for me---my wife usually makes some with beans and some without and freezes the left overs. Which one I eat subsequently simply depends on my mood.
Chopped red onions and grated cheddar cheese top it off for me.
And of course, beer is the perfect drink for the spicier versions.
Gotta have the beans, otherwise it's no fun! I like it hot or mild makes no difference, but it's gotta have beans!
