I already had bypass surgery in my small intestine , carcinoma is my decease, my small intestine was blocked some place so I had bypass surgery , my decease is not cured still but I'm start the treatment already , now my health is not enough for chemotherapy, so I must take enough food. Lets say you just had surgery in the last couple of days, you should only have clear liquids until the nausea stops or getting better. Next advance to a full liquid diet which includes liquids with sustance. Then go to a soft diet where you shouldn't have any spicy foods or spices in your food. Once you start passing gas, then go back to a regular diet.
