Well, I'm an 11 year old too and I also struggle to lose weight and so far the best way I've found to lose weight is a video game. Yeah it sounds weird but it works this video game is Dance Dance Revolution. I lost 5 pounds in 3 days with only the game 2 or 3 hours per day. Other than that I ride my bike and play soccer and try to keep eating relatively healthy meals and snacks.

I am 11 too and a bit embarresed about how much I weigh. The boys at my school don't help. I walk to school and I power walk my dog. I have only just started but it helped my mum and I think these comments will help a lot to!!

I'd have to say that you eat healthy(fruits, vegetables), play a sport, do the dance called the jerk it can really help you with all the movement, or you can do the same thing the comment above me said!

I am 11 too and I weigh 127 pounds, at 5 ft 1, and I did a body mass calculator and it says I am healthy! I still wanted to lose weight so I take dance once a week and ride my bike for about an hour or I run. I lose about 4 pounds a week.

I would play  outside a lot bike is one of the best ways to loose weight

As an 11 year old, you'll lose weight the same way an adult was:

1. Eat less
2. Exercise more

Now keep in mind when I say eat less, that is not entirely true.  For instance, you can eat A LOT of vegetables such as broccoli or celery if you wanted to because they are very low in calories and do a good job of filling you up.

When I say eat less, I'm referring to most other foods other than lean meats, fruits and veggies.

One other tip to prevent over-eating is to eat slower and to stop when you're at about a 7/10 on the "hunger scale".

When you feel just "satisfied"...stop eating, don't stuff yourself.

Also, keep in mind it takes 15 min for your stomach to tell your brain it's full, so if you think you've eaten a good amount of food, give yourself 15 min before finishing off the rest of whats on your plate.

Another tip...drink a lot of water..sometimes when you think you're hungry, your body actually just needs water.  Drink 8 glasses of water per day and you will find you end up eating less food.

There is a lot more info out there for you to learn in order to implement a successful diet plan/strategy.  You're going to want to start reading up some more.

I personally learned a lot from this.

At the age 11 year old is not that much difficult to lose your body weight. Just make sure you doing right body exercise to burn body fat. Prefer those game, which is playing outside like football, cricket & volleyball etc.
Make a research for perfect diet plan because right diet plan plays almost 70-80% role in losing weight.

I'm a 11 year old girl and I'm concerned about my weight I weigh 7 stone and 8 lbs and all of my friends are skinny and I try my best to lose weight I eat at least 5 pieces of fruit (I don't really like veg) a day an I am starting to get out and about now with my friends.

Okay GUYS. You don't want to LOSE WEIGHT. You want to lose FAT!!! So stop saying you want to lose WEIGHT because WEIGHT IS ONLY A NUMBERRRR!!!
