There is no hard and fast rule for it, but I can tell you a trick it may prove beneficial for you. You need a grinder. Take one cup of granulated sugar put it into grinder, when it becomes powder put it into your recipe. More over you can know for future that how much powdered sugar is equal to granulated sugar. Take care :)
A cup of fine sugar or a cup of powdered sugar might seem to be the same. But infact I think that a cup of powdered sugar is much more than a cup of fine sugar because a cup of fine sugar when powdered will be less than the other . So I think that a powdered is more than the fine one.
