I am going round to my friends for a chicken dinner. She cooks her chicken in butter which I am trying to avoid eating. Will the chicken absorb the butter or will it run off and should I avoid eating the skin of the chicken?

The butter will get in through the places that don't have skin on them. It will still absorb the butter. Can't you get them to grill it instead? Much better for you!

Yeah, don't eat the skin, I sure don't, does your friend know you don't want to eat butter? If so you could just ask her to do yours without butter and maybe with a little olive oil instead, I sure wouldn't mind if someone asked me that!

U have three choices.

1.) Tell her know how u feel and risk being UN invited

2. Try not to eat too much

3. Give in for one day and enjoy the chicken
