I have to buy the wavey frozen fries for the good taste b/c the regular ones won't taste good after we bake them in the oven. why would that be? What's difference?

The wavy fries have much more surface area to heat and become more crisp.

The shape of fries seem to effect the texture and taste quite substantially. Different fries are also seasoned slightly differently. That's why I love curly fries.

Those are the ones we use too. I think the crinkle allows more air to circulate around the fries making them a bit crispier and evenly cooked.

I don't like any Fries done in the oven, I either deep fry them or don't eat them.
