I like most cheeses. My exception is that I like a bowl of hot tomato soup with my grilled cheese. Then, it's perfect!

Either white American cheese or Cooper sharp cheese. With mustard, always mustard.

Smoked Gouda, Monterey Jack and white sharp Cheddar, on Sourdough with Parmasan.

Deli American on Wonder bread.

Yellow sharp cheddar with crispy slices of Bacon.

I actually prefer a good Swiss cheese myself. American is good but it's all processed junk.

I like a mixture of cheeses. I usually make it with swiss, provolone and American because that is usually what I have in my fridge. One restaraunt near where we used to live had a six cheese grilled cheese. It was gooey deliciousness!

Provolone or swiss. Either one goes good with a bowl of french onion soup.
