As well as being National Doughnut Day in the US, it's National "Fish and Chips" day here in the UK. For the sake of transatlantic co-operation, is there a way to combine both?

Crumble the donut, cover the fish with the crumbled donut then fry it!

Nothing beats English Fish and Chips , so I would eat a donut for dessert ! Most people have never had "real" fish and chips. I'm proud to say that I have ! Almost hate to ruin it with a donut.

We had a place where I used to live that made "spudnuts".  Those were donuts made with mashed potato in them.  Sooooo .. I will suggest we just add some fish to the mix and have "fish and spudnuts".  YECH .. Lol

Wouldn't mind fish and chips then a doughnut. I prefer jam doughnuts. :)
