I love Maltas, but they have a myth that if you drink a warm malta, it can cause a miscarriage. I don't know how much of this is true, but many women don't drink them while pregnant, I don't, but if it was cold then your ok, no need to stress, but try to avoid it if you can.
I would read the ingredients and if you are concerned either don't drink them or talk to your doctor. I love Maltas but they add pounds and I mean many, many pounds to my little body. So I had to stop. I may have one cold one during the summer.
