Cranberries beds are constructed in high ground areas that have a low water beds. Once the base is done clean sand is put in to a deepness of approximately four to eight inches. The façade is laser levelled with a small circlet in the middle to smooth the progress of drainage. Irrigation tools are placed in the bed to give proper irrigation for vine expansion and for spring and fall hoarfrost safety. After this process is complete the vines are extend on the façade of the sand of the original bed and hard-pressed into the sand with a dull disk. These vines are watered regularly for the entire first few weeks till the roots form and new shoots grow up. Apart from this nitrogen fertilizer is also provided in the very first year.

Cranberries are considered to be the main crops in American states like of Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin, as well as in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Quebec

Cranberries grow on a low growing, vining, woody plant that is in the same family as blueberries. The berries have hollow chambers which allows them to float in water. This is why they are harvested in bogs!
