Celery is very nutritious and has lots of potassium.  There are nearly 200mg of potassium in one large stalk of celery. Celery has a perfect potassium to sodium ratio.  If you have high blood pressure you should eat lots of celery.

There is very little potassium in celery, it is of the parsley family and very low in nutrients. Would be better off eating parsley, makes a wonderful salad in place of lettuce with tomatoes, cucumerbers, bulgar wheat and some lemon and oil of course season to taste. Mint is always good. Much more nutricious. To get more information of potassium contents, try or google and you will have better results. As well, bananas are very high in potassium
