Watermelons grow best in sandy land in a sunny location. You will find watermelons grown mostly in southern part of the United States and also in Mexico. Other countries grow them as well, of course, but that is the best locations for us here in United States.

Watermelons can be grown anywhere. What the real question is how do you care for it. You have to nurture it and water it. I'm growing some in my backyard and it's huge! All you have to do is to care for it.
