You know you can make them and they are pretty easy to make. Here is the recipe. This is a recipe from Rachel Ray.
3 cups vegetable oil
4 cups flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 -1/2 cups of milk
3 large eggs
confectioners sugar for dusting.
Heat the oil to 350-375 degrees
in a large bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, then make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and put in the eggs and milk and beat until smooth. Put the batter into a plastic bag and snip off a corner no more then 1/4 inch wide. Now slowly squeeze the batter in a back and forth motion to make a free form lacy web. Cook about 1 or 2 minutes then flip it over and fry the other side. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Then repeat to make another one. Dusk the cakes with confectioners sugar and serve hotl. YUMMMY!!!!
