Depending on the temperature, I would not leave it more than 2 days and be sure to get it in the refrigerater by the 3rd day and hope you made it in time,I've had one go bad in the refrigerator and I was surprised because my grand father had a farm and they use to lay in the field 2 days or so but He was a farmer and knew how long to leave them and if they stayed too long he would just feed them to the pigs...so I guess they are delicate...the best to you
