Pistachio Nuts are high in Proteins. However, they do not cause Gout. Also, eating them in moderation does not affect you if you are suffering from this disease. So there must be some other cause of your disease.

In the last four weeks have have found that eating large servings of pistachios definitely cause me to have a bad gout attack. Is it possible that a chemical used while processing them or for preserving them may be the cause?
