It sure is – Helluva Good even say so on their website. A lot of their food is actually gluten-free.

Just remember, most chips and tortillas contain gluten, even if the dip doesn't!

What About Monosodium Glutamate?
Yeah, there’s monosodium glutamate (also known as MSG) in Helluva Good French Onion Dip. However, despite the common misconception, MSG doesn’t actually contain gluten. It probably did at one point, but nowadays it’s produced through fermentation of various sugars and starches. Wheat starch, the one with gluten in, isn’t used.

MSG still isn’t all that great for you though, so don’t have too much!

What Are The Main Foods With Gluten In?
  • Wheat
  • Barley
  • Rye
  • Oats
  • Malt
  • Brewer's Yeast
I had to check all this out for my ex-girlfriend when she was on a gluten-free diet last year. We checked the ingredients on food packaging and then searched the internet for any ingredients (like MSG) that we weren’t sure about - most of the time, you'll find the information you're looking for on the brand's website.

Hope that’s of some help, and enjoy the French onion dip!

like to do apples and other fruit and dipped honey mixed with chopped and roasted pecans.

Homemade falafel is great for the hummus dipping.

Carrots, cauliflower, and mushrooms are good dipped in salsa.

Meats, in strips, are nice to dip as a finger food into guacamole.

If you can make corn tortillas yourself out of corn masa, that's VERY tasty, and you can even use them to make a kind of Mexican lasagna, layering them like noodles between, say, layers of chicken mixed with cooked tomatoes, green chile, and spices plus a little broth (dairy free that way).

Socca is a flatbread made from ground chickpeas (french, many recipes online) and is good dipped in numerous dips.

A really interesting meal I've seen is fried slices of plantains topped with some chile, refried black beans, a little sauteed onion, and avocado, tomato, or both. It's lovely. The best place to get this information is at What is gluten free diet ?
