I am a 66 y/o female. My total cholesterol is 210 and my LDL is 132 . How much soluble fiber would I need to eat / take daily to lower my cholesterol levels
According to National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicin: Women Age 50 and younger should take 25 grams and above 50 should take 21 grams of fiber. Men Age 50 and younger should take 38 grams and above 50 should take 30 grams of fiber.
