Lettuce, cheese, and tomato sandwiches are my favorite :3
I like a good egg salad sandwich with a little pickle relish mixed in.
Montreal Smoked Meat, with cheddar cheese. Second would be Ham and Cheddar cheese, with hot mustard and a bit of mayo.
I just like normal pb&j :)
A really good Tuna salad with cheddar cheese lettuce, tomatoes and plenty of pickled jalapenos. Second would be a grilled cheese with a bowl of Tomato soup.
1. Roast beef, cooper sharp American cheese and horseradish on 15 grain bread.
2. Peanut butter and M&M's on white bread.
3. Baked beans and mayo on toasted 15 grain bread.
I can't get it anymore! It is a hot ham and cheese all the way with no pickle from a little hole in the wall restaurant. They sold the restaurant and the new people used shaved ham instead a ham steak and a different bread company. I have heard a rumor the restaurant was sold again to someone who grew up with eating the first owners' sandwiches and asked them to help get it back to what it was. I haven't been back, but I am thinking of trying it again. I just don't want to be disappointed again.
I thought I had a favorite sandwich but after reading these comments...all I can say is drool. This is food porn :)
othing beatNs a simple home made PB&J sandwich.
Has to be made with good quality white bread
I like Jiff peanut butter, creamy not chunky.
Spread lots of peanut butter on real thick on one slice of bread
For Jelly i prefer Strawberry preserves or jam.
Spread the jam right on top of the peanut butter. It goes on easier and more evenly when done this way. Then take the other slice of bread and put it on top. Cut in half or even into fourths put it on a paper towel or plate and enjoy.
No cooking involved, dishes to be cleaned after? One butter knife.
A real turkey breast sandwich....like the kind from the oven, not the kind made with lunch meat.....and miracle whip, salt and pepper, yum
Or.....a homegrown tomato and miracle whip salt and pepper on toast, preferably rye!
A Muffuletta. One of these bad boys feeds me for around 2-3 days.
Instructions to make: http://imgur.com/a/OIuZoSince so many have been said that are scrumptious and delicious...
I can't say this is my "favorite" and I don't know how to post a picture.. I'll have to take you through a delightful taste bud tingling and tantalizing building of the sandwich instead.
Start with a clean kitchen. (Something I don't have at the moment, but we can pretend.) How about some pita bread? Open it up and lather it with guacamole on one side and possibly cream cheese on the other. Add fresh leaf lettuce and roma tomatoes, definitely black olives and a sprout or two. Throw in some red onion, a little parsley for your breath and don't forget the cucumbers and zucs. Carrots for color and let's not forget, I'm healthy... But not this healthy all the time.... A beverage of your choice on the side!!!
Tuna sandwich
I loooove grilled cheese sandwich too. It's simply the best. And now that it's cold again and winter is coming it's even more appropriate to make it. Great breakfast idea for every weekend.
