Rather comically, I was on an all-night bus trip in the 1980s and we pulled into a rest stop at 2.30 am. I ordered coffee and the waitress asked if I took milk. "Yes," I said stupidly, so she poured it in. Then I sat down with my travelling companion and added two spoons of sugar -- which I hadn't used for at least 10 years.
But I figured if I was that doolally I'd better drink the stuff. It didn't matter. I was so tired I didn't even taste it.
No coffee for me tea or pepsi
