Are KFC chickens really mutant chickens? I've read some strange stories about it. Opinions?

Either way, those chickens are nicer than the KFC employees. I've never seen any good service with them. That's just my two cents.

I haven't been to KFC in years after their sanitation grade dropped below 90% at the place near me. Bleh!

I agree about the service, but don't you guys think it's like that in the fast food business in general? Low-quality food, bad service but it's cheap in the end.

Depends on the laws in the US. In Canada you can't use hormones etc. On chickens. Are they allowed to use growth hormones etc. In the US?

Of course they are mutated ... Thanks to human intervention, ALL food animals have been mutated.

They should have you sign a waiver if you choose to eat that garbage.

KFC, for the most part gets their chicken from Tyson, so if you buy Tyson chicken from the freezer section you're eating the same chicken. The same goes for McD's and most other fast food restaurants.

I don't think they're mutated really. But they definitely aren't "natural" chickens. Their food is probably full of chemicals in order to get them hungrier and bigger, and to quicken the maturity process.

Mutation is something on a gene level, I guess.
