KFC was founded as Kentucky Fried Chicken by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952, However the idea of KFC goes back to 1930, when Sanders sued to serve his Chicken at Gas Station as "Sanders Court & Café" and became so successful that in 1936, for his contribution to the state's cuisine, Kentucky's that time Governor granted Sanders the title of honorary Kentucky Colonel.
