I've called them dippy eggs my whole life but I had to get used to calling them over easy when ordering at restaurants because sometimes the server didn't know what I was talking about .LOL I found this on the web but most people I know here in Central Pennsylvania also call them dippy eggs.
This question was inspired by Willie's answer to the National Day question. Have you ever heard Over Easy fried eggs called Dippy Eggs ?
LOL!!!! I never heard of dippy eggs! But I use to love "fried eggs" which are over easy eggs! 😅😅😅😅
Now I am so scared to eat them because I'm afraid of salmonella poisoning. 😐😓😔
I've never heard them called dippy eggs either but that's exactly how I eat my eggs only here in New England we call them over medium. Hold the side order of scrapple please!!! 😂 😂 😂
I haven't actually heard the term "dippy eggs", but it makes perfectly good sense. I always dip my toast in my over easy egg yolks. :)
No, I’ve never heard of dippy eggs. That’s interesting though. They’re called over easy here.
Never heard that before. I only want mine scrambled, unless I’m having a fried egg sandwich then week done. Thank you hold the mayo.
Never heard them called that. But I will check with my sister-in-law's brother. He will be by tomorrow and they are from PA.
