General rule of thumb is about 3 days if you need to keep it longer than freeze it but it does lose flavor that way 3 days is basically the rule for most anything in my book but state law in vermont is 7 days but it's best to always smell food before eaten also all food must go from stove to fridge without setting out to cool first because bacteria grows fast ,chicken and seafood spoil faster as well as raw meats you may get away with smoked meats days longer than even the 7 the state rule
Cooked crab is good for several days in the fridge, if it is picked out crab meat, they do not last as long if they are still in the shells.
