I bought a cooked pork loin on Thursday... I put in the crock pot on Sunday... Is it ok to eat?
I don't usually keep leftovers for more than 3 days. My roommate will eat things up to 5 days old but she seems to have a cast iron stomach. After it is more that a couple days old I have to make sure I heat it up really well to try and kill anything. But all my friends tell me I am overly paranoid about leftovers.
If you keep it wrapped, and sealed, it will keep for at least 4 days. Sometimes 5 if you do it well. Hope this helps, good luck.
If the meat is fresh and has been cooked at home, it can be kept safe in the refrigerator for a very short period of time that is between three and four days. On the other hand, the meat which is frozen and which has been cooked at home can be kept safe in the freezer (in other words, it can be frozen) for a longer period of time, that is between two and three months.
In the case of such varieties of meat as beef, lamb, pork or veal chops, steaks and roasts, if the meat is fresh and has been cooked at home, it can be kept safe in the refrigerator for a very short period of time, that is between three and five days. As long as it has remained in the fridge, I would think it would be good up to 2 days. I am not sure I would trust it any longer than that. Be sure to cook it thoroughly in any case. If it has a odd smell, trash it.
2 or 3 days, then it starts to get a bit high.
For probably 3 days or less
They are good for a week.
No more than 3 days.
Will a game meat casserole be alright in the fridge for 2 days ( I wish to use it on Friday evening)? I made it overnight last night.
I cooked a london broil on Easter Sunday and want to know if it is covered in the refrigerator how long will it keep
Cooked chicken stays well in the fridge at least for 2 days. Also, it depends on the type of cooking. If you have made a dish with mayonnaise or a salad type of dish it will last for less time. If it is a Indian curry it could last for a much longer time like say for about 4 days. Also, when you remove the chicken from the fridge you must boil it well, don't just microwave the curry. It should be heated on a gas stove.
Also, it should be stored covered with a foil paper that would make it last longer.

Depends what dish your chicken is in if a curry it can last for four nights be sure to heat it up properly on a stove though ! And same with chicken cajatorie anything that is a saucy dish four days is fine , but if its by itself or with salad something small its better you eat it within 2-3 days maximum just to be sure :)
Make sure you cover the beef and it will keep two days.
3-4 days.
Last 3 to 5 days !
As a Cook I would say if it has been in there over a day it is no good. under cooked pork and old pork when eaten can cause worms to form in your body
