I make it quite often and it is not that tough! I just buy the box and it is sort of like pudding actually. I have never made it from scratch but the box custard I have purchased taste pretty darn good to me. I use it in Trifle which I make this time of year. What confuses you? Send me the recipe and I can see if I can decipher the mumbo from the jumbo! Lol
