I LOVE cabbage rolls.  I have a recipe for them "in my head"..lol  Here's a version of the recipe:  mix up your favorite meatloaf recipe and add 1 can of tomato sauce with 1/2 cup cooked rice.  Mix all together and let sit while you take off leafs from a large cabbage.  Place all the separate leafs in two papertowels and microwave for about 1-2 minutes so they are pliable.  Take an icecream scoop and place part of the hamburger mixture into each cabbage leaf.  Place a toothpick through each roll to keep together.  Place in a large dutch oven and take another can of tomato sauce over the top w/small amount of water.  Cook on medium heat for 45-60 minutes.  Sometimes I double the recipe because we like leftovers!  ♥

Brown the meat, add onion, garlic, pepper, a little bell pepper, powdered AuJus, parsley, basil. oregano, worchestershire sauce, soy, after it's browned, add tomato sauce, paste, and stewed tomatoes. Cook rice, about 3 cups I guess, mix the sauce into the rice until you have a saucy mixture. Gently cook the cabbage and peel the leaves, place a spoon of meat/rice mixture in a leaf, and roll up. When you have a pan full, use the rest of the sauce to top them off, and bake at about 325 until done. Hope you like them if you try them. ♥♥♥

No, I don't like those, either.  And what's worse, my inlaws insist on making and bringing those every year for Christmas (or any holiday, actually).
