Peanut butter has been used to make peanut butter, peanut brittle, and candy bars, as well as being roasted or boiled and eaten without any additives.  Also, peanut oil is often used in cooking, and can be found in paint, varnish and lubricating oil. It's also used in leather dressings, furniture polish, insecticides, certain soaps, and nitroglycerin.  Bird feeds often include different kinds of peanuts.  The shell of the peanut can be used to create plastic, wallboard, abrasives, fuel, cellulose, and glue.  Finally, peanut plant tops can be used to make hay.  For more info on peanuts, go to en.wikipedia.org, which is where I researched all this information.
