If you are going to cook it then you have about 4 hours...if you are going to put in back in the only have about 1 hour in a 70 deg room.
The bacteria will grow if it is uncovered.  If it is in its original packaging, this will help to prolong the bacteria growth.
So, if you have left it out for more then 4...cook it immediately.
The temp should reach at least 140 deg to kill any bacteria.
