There is no concept of heat generating or cool generating things in allopathy or medical. This is issue in the Ayurvadic or ancient herbal medicines. According to medical you can eat any dry fruit in limits thorough out a year. As dry fruits especially nuts contain large amount of fats, so there can be abnormal increase in your cholesterol levels. If someone ask you not eat dry fruits in summer, then ask him to give any scientific evidence or study which shows that the dry fruits have any heat generation effect.
