Hotdog sausages are usually made up of the cheap offcuts of meat which are then processed and mashed up to make hotdogs.
They are high in fat, with a typical frankfurter having 26% of the recommended daily allowance of saturated fat; high in sodium (salt)- 21% recommended daily allowance, and do not really contain and vitamins or other nutrients to speak of.
Also, once teamed up with a white hot dog bun, you are adding refined carbohydrates to the mix.
Thinking of washing it down with a can of coke? That'll add a shed load of sugar and caffeine to your daily intake too!

But let's be honest, we don't eat them for their health benefits, and providing you don't have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I think you'll be fine!
