Obesity, Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Loss of Appetite
Apart from all the health problems associated with eating too much junk food, we must never forget that it was the inspiration for this hit parade number from 1947.
Clearly, this was recorded before political correctness would have caused everybody to recoil with horror.
Elizabeth answered that very well (though we may differ somewhat when it comes to fats) - it just ain't good for you. And when you're eating foods that your body really likes then junk food doesn't even taste good any more! If you want to explore it further there's an excellent guide here that explains the problem and gives a very tasty solution :)
Junk foods are not good for the body. You see there's little nutrients that we can get in this food but it’s hard to avoid because food companies have mastered the perfect taste sensation, largely a blend of salt, sugar and fat, to keep you coming back for more.
Disadvantages such as: Weight Gain, Chronic Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Nutritional Deficiencies, but I am not saying here that it is too bad. One just need to be responsible enough and moderate the intake of this foods. Have a healthy living everyone =)
Junk food might not be the healthiest choice one could be making, but it sure is tasty, affordable and easily reachable. Nevertheless, there are a lot more disadvantages and arguments that go against eating it, with special emphasis on the health factor. As long as one is strong enough to find and use some sort of balance when it comes to eating junk food every now and then, on the rarest of occasions, the negative effects of this type of food can be significantly diminished.
Hi
there! I can only see one advantage with eating junk food and it’s the taste!
Everything else is bad! The main disadvantages include: 1) you never know
what’s really in there, 2) use of harmful flavourings and colourings, 3) high
fat content, 4) high salt content and 5) hygiene during the preparation
process. The best thing to do is to stick to home-cooked food!
