Yes, I've had rose petals. I've also cooked with rose petals and lavender. I use the rose petals for a simple syrup that I use as a drink base. Rose water is amazing as a cherry limeade base. Also there is a cheesecake that I have a recipe for that has candied hibiscus flowers as a garnish.
