My sister and I use to eat the honeysuckle at the lake when we were younger.
No, I'd like to though.
My "rabbit" days are far behind me.
No, not that I can recall.
I'm with Yin, I've eaten honeysuckle, tastes sweet, but smells better!
I have been known to put calendula petals into salads- mostly for color accent.ย Same for nasturism flowers, and the nasturism buds for the peppery taste.ย
Dear JNicka,
Yes eating the flowers was one of the phases I went through...used to find ways to put 'em in everything...did you know that day lilies are edible? They have a nice sour taste, like sheep sorrel and sour dock.
I would drag the whole long-suffering circle of family and friends out each spring to harvest wild violets...have you ever eaten wild violet jam? Or homemade rose petal jam? Heavenly.

I did! And yes it's been good! Beneficial!
Broccoli and cauliflower are big flowernig heads of cabbage-family plants, so in that case, yes, I do like them :)
