I’ve never heard of that. The only Michelin I’m familiar with is car tires.

As a special treat to myself, I always finished business trips to Paris by visiting a favourite restaurant close to my office there. It had a Michelin star. Two amazing things about it.

1) No matter how long it was between trips, they always recognised me at the door and greeted me by name (of course, they knew I was coming anyway, since it was a restaurant where booking in advance was essential.)

2) It was owned and run by an American Couple. Given the Parisians dislike of anything "USA", the fact that they got the business going in the first place and then went on to get a star was pretty remarkable.
