No, I think they stopped decades ago...However, a very similar wine which is also low-alcohol and very sweet and the taste is indistinguishable from Bali Hai (which I used to drink in major quantities) is Wild Vines Frutezia "Sunshine Blend", which blends peaches and oranges with a white wine.
God, I wish they still made BH or would bring it back. But the Frutezia is the closest yet to our Bali Hai!

You would think that someone would have purchased the recipe and perhaps even the name and started to produce this wine again. Drinking it sure does take me back in time to my college days. would like to feel that rush just one more time.

I wish they did., I used to live in Long Beach California back in the late 60's and that was the only thing I ever drank. I would love to get a bottle of it today.. They always change things, like Ambush perfume. They don't make that anymore either. I don't like change! Jo

I drank Bali Hai wine in the seventies....mixed it with sprite....and made the best wine coolers for the summer, before they were popular or sold commercially.  I miss the Bali Hai....

I'm always searching the internet for anyone who remembers Bali Hai.  It was delicious!  I recently made a wine punch with Chardonnay and White Cranberry Peach juice and once again it brought back the memories.  Similar, but never the same.  I'm going to look for the Frutezia and see if they sell it in my area.  Thanks for the memories!  Wish I could have the real thing!

I first had Bali Ha'i in 1970. It was made by Italian Swiss Colony at the same time as Ripple and Thunderbird were made by Gallo. The bottles were fancy green with grape patterns embossing the glass. By the late 70's, it was made by the "Bali Ha'i Wine Company" and came in plain bottles that were worthy of the inferior recipe they were using. I never bought it again, but I still bought Ripple until Gallo (who was hiding behind the name "Ripple Wine Company" for Ripple and "Thunderbird Wine

Company" to protect their "E&J" nouveau classy image) discontinued it.

I maintain that the demise of these two excellent wines is demonstrative of the anti-consumer attitude of the "free market."

When I was stationed at Camp Pendleton ('69-'70), we mixed bali hai and Budweiser, called it a "Sneaky Pete". It went down so easy but would sneak up on you and drop you in your tracks.  Most ferocious hangovers I ever had. Good Times.

When my future wife and I were dating, we used to sneak several bottles into the movie theater when we went out. Man that brings back a ton of memories, all good I might add. That was 42 years ago and I swear, when I burp I can still taste it.

Bali Hai was the most popular wine at Indiana State University in the early 70's. Wish it was still available!
